Manawa Housing will lease you a section in perpetuity plus provide a $100,000.00 cash subsidy to help towards the cost to construct your new home. The subsidy is made possible by way of Government loan to Manawa Housing.

You must be able to obtain a mortgage from our Partner bank Westpac to cover the cost of construction and consenting.  We use a long term lease that the bank accepts as good security for your mortgage. You design and own the house and are responsible for paying a lease rent back to Manawa Housing.
